Vlogger Equipment Check with Evan J Daniel

Evan not only kills it on a BMX, he is also official filmer for DDASC. BMX Groms checked in with Evan to see what equipment he uses for his webisodes and to get some tips.
Evan uses a GoPro Hero 5, as well as a GoPro Hero 5 Session for POV clips.
Here is what else Evan has to say about his equipment and vlogging.
When I’m talking to the camera, I use a Joby Gorilla action tripod and a metal housing with some DIY wind killers also called “dead cats” to make up the picture and sound that is in the webisodes.
If I want to take cinematic shots on the GoPro, I choose to use the Hero 5 with the Karma Grip to get good looking steady shots.
When I use the Hero 5 Session to get a POV shot I mount it onto my helmet, so i can ride more comfortably.
The Lowepro case holds everything I need for my cameras and the mounts needed for them.
I choose to vlog with this setup because it is the easiest thing to use and film with, plus I’m sponsered by GoPro.
Evan’s latest Webisode is below: Webisode 24: Riding with Josh Perry.
